Grad School

What a long strange road it has been …

So finally things seem to be coming together for me, after such a very long time. I have been accepted and have accepted admittance to the American University in Cairo

I will be getting my Master of Arts degree in Middle Eastern Studies, something which after taking Middle East & Islamic Studies as a minor in my Bachaelor degree days, I have quite come to like. The only difficult thing about the whole degree is going to be the fluency in Arabic. In order to graduate from the program, I will have to attain proficiency in Arabic to at least a 2.5 out of 5 on the American Foriegn Serivce exam. Not really sure how difficult that is, but it’s Arabic so its going to be terrible, I just know it.

Be sure to check the blog posts that I update, as they’re sure to contain more information about grad school!
